With all the load you put in the over-the-showerhead shower caddies, overtime, the caddy starts to slip forward. Since it hangs over the shower head, it also puts weight on the plumbing in the wall. With Beyond LavisHome Shower Caddy, you don't hang your caddy over the shower head. Here's how it works: 1. The assembly consists of 5 parts, the adjustable rod, extension hook with peg,4 suction cups, 4 round mounting plate and the shower caddy. 2. The assembly is installed to the opposite wall of the shower head. This doesn't just take the load off of your plumbing but also prevents your toiletries from getting soaked while the shower is running. 3. The adjustable rod is used to create a mounting base parallel to the shower head's opposite wall. It extends from 27.5" to 42.25 ". With it's expanded size, it can accommodate almost all of the shower surround. One end has a hook that hooks over your shower curtain rod and the other end has a rubber cup that rests on top of the wall's lip. 4. Once the adjustable rod is in place, the extension hook would be connected to it. The shower caddy would hook over the peg on the extension hook. 5. The suction cups would be used to keep the caddy in place. It also provides support to handle the loads in the caddy. 6. If your wall is wavy or if the assembly's suction cups happen to align to the grout lines of your shower surround (if any), the round mounting plates will serve as the base where the suction cups will attach. One side has a 3M adhesive that will attach to the wall and the other side is a round acrylic plate where the suction cup will attach. We chose ONLY the best materials for our shower caddy. Every metal piece of our assembly is made of STAINLESS STEEL. This is the ONLY shower caddy that ensures you a non-slip, non-falling feature that works for real.
